All Shine Talent Training is virtual to give you the opportunity to learn from world-class coaches from the comfort of your own space. As the auditioning and callback process is almost all still virtual, we feel this is the best way for you to learn as well so you thrive in virtual situations.
This being said classes or workshops take place over Zoom. The links will be shared with you in the virtual class space.
We use a community app for all of our Shine programs called Circle. Circle is available on desktop, iOS and Android. When you register for a class, a team member will add you to the correct space. You'll receive an email to join the Shine Community if you're not already in it.
Each class has a virtual "space." There, you'll post or send the assignments in the way the specific instructor wants you to.
We do! Discounts apply for repeat students of Shine Talent Training or Shine Members of our other programs. We also offer military and sibling/family discounts. If you fit any of these categories, please email hello@shine.us for a code to be used at checkout.

We're thrilled you're interested in coaching for our amazing performers. We are happy to collaborate with new instructors. We do ask that you're CURRENTLY or VERY RECENTLY (within the last 2 years) working on recognizable productions or with clients working on major productions be considered. Please email hello@shine.us.
In short, no. Why? Because once you’ve purchased your spot in a class, someone else can’t. In rare cases, with good reason, as deemed appropriate, necessary, and doable by a Shine admin team member, we will allow students to transfer their class registration to another student or to another session, workshop, or class.
Shine Talent Training classes are recorded, so you can watch them later. We recommend you do it in time to do the associated class assignments before the next session.
After a class run is over (usually 30-45 days), we don't guarantee continued access to the recordings, but we do keep them all.
Workshops (considered a one-time event) replays are available as limited runs, 1 or 2 weeks only.
If you're a registered student, you can listen in; just rename yourself in Zoom to say "Auditing: First Last." However... because STT all happens in a virtual environment, you MUST be in a quiet place, and we strongly advise you to be present, in a stationary place (not driving), and ON CAMERA in every class you attend to make the environment more interactive and engaging for the instructor, the other students, and most importantly, for YOU. We highly recommend you treat STT the same as if you were in an in-person classroom!
Many actors come to Shine hoping to get signed with agents or managers. This does indeed happen for many of our Members! However, STT is not where that happens. STT is where you polish your talent and skills.
We don’t believe in promoting talent to the many reps we know before you’ve mastered your marketability and are 100% professionally polished and industry-savvy. We offer this specific kind of training inside our Signature Program, called Shine Talent Accelerator & Review (aka STAR, which is 12 weeks of intensive coaching and personal mentorship, or there's a DIY version), and during the WOW Weekend (VIP Workshops + a Virtual Showcase).
